Veera is a computational artist and machine learning engineer with expertise in computer vision and generative AI. Her practice focuses on machine learning as a form of knowledge production. By misplugging and subverting data pipelines, she studies the edges and logics of deep learning systems and reimagines them. Besides her day job as a machine learning engineer, Veera has recently worked as a researcher in Transforming Collections project (link: https://www.arts.ac.uk/ual-decolonising-arts-institute/projects/transforming-collections) at the UAL Creative Computing Institute, collaborating with 16 art partners including the Tate. She produced In-grid: Chain (here: internal link within our website) takeover at Iklectik in 2022.
